'The' Light
The light.
The breeze.
The colours to see.
The flow of the river.
The life in the trees.
The music is brisk.
The feeling is free.
Truly a wonderful site to see.
The sense.
The touch.
The tough of the ground.
The sweetness of laughter.
The friendships we found.
The come and play.
The natures sound.
The vibrant green grass on the ground.
The thought.
The wonder.
The question of why.
The sweetness we kindle.
The blue in the sky.
The wow look at us.
The cute and the shy.
The sparkling light as water flows by.
The talk.
The listen.
The nothing that's missing.
The excitedly curious.
The need not for wishing.
The spirited within.
The strong ambition.
The trust that we're all in perfect position.
When I started writing, I challenged myself with a new format. Starting every line with "the". I then proceeded to ensure the poem stayed uplifting and presenting a feeling I'd describe as warm and serene.
Those who know me personally might recognize the scene of where this poem is based, but no worries if you don't; Like almost all of my poetry, I wrote this, not to be seen through my eyes, but rather to-each there-own interpretation;
