The Life In You Poem by Hana Zuhair

The Life In You

I apologize for the disturbance
But I’m inspired now to let you see

To make you dream
To make you fail and to make you succeed
To make you fall then hold your hands to bound up again…

To the insecurities of life and to the obscurity of conscience
To the suddenness of happiness and to the suddenness of its disappearance
To the appreciation of a dream’s value and the truth that it won’t necessary come true

I apologize for disturbing your calm
But, the deadness of your “stability” moved me
To make you be, To see you be

Because, once before I remember, I saw you boundless, I saw you free
