Please read the letter that I wrote
It was written in the confines of my heart
Penned with love
Ink crimson red
Letters creating verse whilst I slumbered
Confessing my soul upon invisible pages
Thoughts written by the light of your love
A candle that burns through the night
Illuminating my soul so all can see

Please read the letter that I wrote
Look closely into my eyes of blue
Turn the pages with each sigh
As you pull me close
The words become bolder
Emphases placed delicately between your caress
An unpublished version created while I floated on clouds
Penned with love
Crimson red and untouched through time
