The Last Words Of A Tortured Soul Poem by Hope Wallin

The Last Words Of A Tortured Soul

I'm screaming.
Can't you hear me?
I'm dying.
Can't you feel me?
My head is aching,
My heart is breaking.
I'm screaming.
Can't you hear me?

Inside,
I am broken.
Outside,
It goes unspoken.
The pain starts to pound,
My cries start to sound.
Inside, I am broken.

My heart
Can't take much more.
It's swollen,
And it's sore.
It barely beats,
Admits defeat.
My heart
Can't take much more.

I'm screaming.
Can't you hear me?
I'm dying.
Can't you feel me?
My head is aching,
My heart is breaking.
I'm screaming.
Can't you hear me?
