I walked up to you with tears streaming down my face
Telling you this is my final goodbye
I turn to walk away
Yet I feel your grip around my scarred wrist
And you tell me that you can't live without me
This is the last time I'll feel this way
Knowing you're by my side forever

I see darkness all around me
As I sit all alone in the bloodied corner 
I think I'm all on my own
Yet I see your light break through the thick cloud of despair
