The Last Journey Poem by Rajesh Narayanan

The Last Journey

I called and you came
Stand beside me in the que.
We didn't thought that time
It was start of a new journey.

We were of different folks
Still we flew together
There were clouds on way
Happily we came out always.

Differences were our curiosity,
Differences were the attraction.
Sharing and caring went long,
Flapping our wings together.

One small reveal changed all
One cruel jesting spoiled all.
Twenty first of first month
Marked our last journey.

We sat in corners of the seat
Looking outside, swallowing words.
You didn't turned back as always
I didn't said bye, as always.

My hands were trembling,
My fingers were paining,
With bleeding heart I typed
''Today marks our last journey'.

Now don't look into the eyes,
Don't stand there to see,
The world of shining dreams
That I beget for you in my eyes.

Whom do you are for me,
No need to say dear.
No need of telling story
To anyone in the world ever.

Don't dance with me dear
Don't sing with me ever,
Don't listen to the song
That we humming together.

Are you seeing me always
Without meeting the eyes
Even a smile in your eyes
Takes me to the clouds again.

Mist in the eyes, is that tears,
My purpose of birth, is that you,
Don't you understand ever,
The pain in the soul of this song.

Howbeit I sing this song,
This song is mine, ever mine.
