The Illusionist Poem by Jenny Williams

The Illusionist

The illusionist will tell you that
Nothing is as it seems
This life is but a memory of
The dreaming of a dream
Everything you see is but
A mirror of reality
To step inside this looking-glass
Would be to cross the veil of death
But only then can you wake
From your present sleep.
