Crying in the moonlight
Guided by the starlight
Searching through the darkness
For a glimmer to
Appear

Waiting in the silence
Watching as the shadows
Dance and play while her
Hope presupposes
Every fear

Welcoming the dawn-light
Knowing that the sunshine
Soon will peak its eye
Atop of the
Horizon

Smiling as the first rays
Cast upon her brilliant face
Looking toward the sun
Every distant dream
Is realized
