The House In The Middle Poem by Randy McClave

The House In The Middle

He's a Baptist and he's lives in the house on the left
Before Jesus he had bereft,
His life and his family was falling apart
Then Jesus gave him a kickstart.
He knows that Jesus is the son of all mighty God
To that fact he felt awed.
In his yard he has a flag proclaiming the religion that he practice
Which states that he's a, "God fearing Baptist".

He's a Jew and he lives in the house on the far right
His religion gives him much history and insight,
And every night that he says a prayer
He knows that Yahweh is always there.
He knows that there is a God
But, Jesus was just a prophet he says with a nod,
He is keen and he is religious and very shrewish
In his yard he flies a flag which says, "I'm Jewish".

He's a Devil worshiper and he lives in the house in the middle
And here is the universal riddle,
He is not a Christian and he is not a Jew
Worshiping Satan he believes is glorious and true.
He doesn't worship Jesus or Yahweh or even Jehovah
He doesn't believe in Christ or Abraham or Noah,
In his yard no banner or flag ever flies
Because he supports the Devil and his lies.
