The Horseman Of War Poem by Tim Vallie

The Horseman Of War

Rating: 5.0

Through fields of blood the Horseman strides
Upon a crimson steed he rides
His silver blade, sheathed in flame
The fields of war, the board of his game
The rider of battle, the Horseman of War
Entwined with man's heart for evermore
He rides to battle, eyes aflame
Armies of men come to play his game
The Horseman of War shall know no rest
The hearts of warriors he shall test
Shall test there hearts, their steel and soul
Their lives he takes, failures toll
Death and Conquest follow in his wake
The toils of his work they reap and take
War cares not for the aftermath
He fights for honor, blood shed, and wrath
This is the way of the Horseman of War
Entwined with men forever more
