The Heroine Poem by Pankti Vadalia

The truth is,
She did not become a heroine for the movie she worked in.
She is the Heroine for the Heroine she chose to be
Even when the world tried to shatter all her beliefs.

She is the Heroine for the courage
She possesses in her ever shining soul.
She gets wounded and injured,
but vulnerability is not a word known to her;
Strives hard so as to not become one of those
Ordinary people roaming around,
Purposeless.

She knows the price that it takes
To live a Legend,
To be a Legend.
And proudly pays all dues.

Misleading it is to assume that she does not have weaknesses;
In fact
Her wounds are impossible to cure.
But she never lets anyone know about them.
She chooses to fight alone
Learn alone
Win, alone.

Never does she let anyone know of her battles
As she wants everyone to believe the sole truth of her life:
She is strong enough,
And very much enough for herself.
Very well does she know that the world will insist her
To quit
The circumstance that leads to such intolerable pain.
But the Heroine knows
Legends emerge out of that very pain.

She believes in miracles
Watches miracles happen in their own natural pace.
She sacrifices everything to make others happy,
That is how she is.
It hurts to be like that,
But she pours strength in her soul to bear all of that.

She believes that the whole Universe resides within her
and that is just not a sentence,
but a way of living life, a hard one.
So she chooses to live the hard, the Legendary way.

She has the courage to fall in love,
And the might to hold on even when the world says there is no reason to.
Love is a sword, and she without an armour:
But fighting and winning is what she is born for.
As she believes,
Love doesn't need to be loved back.

The Heroine challenges the world out there-
You can try all you can,
You may see everything in the Heroine's life: the Legend
But you will never watch her accept defeat.
She is born to,
And therefore will WIN.
Forever.
