The Hand Divine Poem by Dr John Celes

The Hand Divine

The heart of God has immense love;
The love of God had sent His Son
To earth, and to be born a man
And take the death on cross for us!

The unseen God is thus now seen
As Jesus Christ, our Savior Lord;
His hands bear mark of our sins-nail;
Yet, kindness flows -river divine!

This river forgives mankind's sins;
It flows perpetually for all;
It chastises the repentant;
It quenches souls that thirst for love.

The water seems always so sweet;
The more you drink, the sweeter 'tis;
It is more than the oceans, clouds;
It washes sins by grace of God.
