The Groom Poem by Tom Allport

The Groom

Rating: 5.0

At the Royal wedding
It was a wonderful sight
The Groom kissing the Groom
Who was all dressed in white
But the problem with batteries
Is they often die
Just when you need them
That is when you cry
"This shite camera"
Not working again
Must get new batteries
Such a bloody shame.

A marvelous poem. So realistic. This poem resonates with me with the dead batteries. So very true. Third line of this write is thought provoking.10
