The Grey Streets Poem by Brodie HoareBond

The Grey Streets

Dare to tread the grey streets,
An urban jungle full of freaks,
The fears of facts about the frightening front,
Through the soft air awaits a brutal grunt,
Within the glades and alleyways,
Darkness and shadows come out to play,
From being watched or being heard,
To the gritty chill of being observed,
The grey streets are dark and full of terror,
Unpredictable by all means and measure,
The horror is evil like a bat out of Hell
Within the cold, dark nights where demons do dwell
