The Great Debate Poem by christopher mcdonald

The Great Debate

dedicated to maria disavo

your elegant and beautifule smile beging to fade
as if you have been dismayed
and in pain
even though your minds been taimed
and trained

your heart beats for the man you love
but the man that loves you does not exist
exept as a friend
or atleast for pretend
till the end
of the bend

as your life dims
you soon forget to grin
and your sins
run out by the proof from your skin
then because of this sin
you begine to trim
and begine
a selfless
dissipline

a long lost love
has fallen from above
to dicover that he isnt
loved back
from a beautifule girl

id say why not
you should give it a shot

whether or not
its the spot to be hot
or be dropped

long lost love
from someone
anyone
isnt a bum
and you dont need to go numb
to use the rule of thumb
its love can you do
that to
