I don't know why

You've moved on and so have I
Then why of why
Do I have tears in my eye?

Roses are red and violets are blue
I will never, ever forget there was you

Life goes on despite all the pain
I'm glad that you are right as the rain

For you I will always have a place in my heart
I have loved you always, right from the start

I am so sorry for what I did to you
I hope that you can forgive me too

I know that I am not worth shit
I will never be able to forget it

I promised forever and a day
And then in a moment I threw it away

But I'm here to tell you, let me say
For me that will always hold sway

I had to choose the life that I had
But hurting you was way past bad

And though I would always choose the same thing
Still thoughts of you do make my heart sing

I am so glad that at last you've found love
It's the gift you deserve from heaven above

For you do I only wish all of the best
But my love for you I'll hold tight to my vest
