The Giant Tv Of Judgement Poem by Jerry Akporhor

The Giant Tv Of Judgement

What if God displays our secrets in the sky,

For all the world to spy and pry? Would you look up or bow your face and be shy,
As your hidden sins and thoughts go by?

What if God screens our sins, And shows them for all to see? Would you be proud to watch the scene, Or wish for the earth to swallow thee?

What if God acts like Annas to name and shame, And airs our dirty laundry for all to know?

Would you want to view the videos and Discuss the audio, or bury your head in woe?

What would you be seen doing, If the giant TV of judgement lights up?

Will you be fornicating, masturbating or cheating on your husband, Or will you be helping others fill their cup?

Will you be raping that innocent girl or burying a brother you killed, Or stealing from your country and causing it to bleed?

Or will you be spreading love and hope, And tending to those in need?

What if the audio tape of your thoughts and words Is unleashed for all to hear and see?

What would you be heard thinking or saying, When you thought no one was watching thee?

Will you be thinking of poisoning someone or visiting an oracle, Or will you be spreading kindness and being a miracle?

Will you be deceiving, gossiping, cursing or lying to someone, Or will you be spreading joy and helping someone?

Remember, the true you is what you do or think When no one is watching or around.
So, watch what you do when alone,
For it will be displayed and abound.
