The German Tongue
For correct German I am,
so 'Fook! ' I say
to see 'Gluck' rhyme with 'luck'
in 'F T on E Cs'* by C Lamb.
For the German tongue I pine,
so say 'Fook! '
to 'Hesse' and 'guess' rhyming -
and 'Heine' and 'mine'.
