The Forrest Poem by shweta khosla

The Forrest

Rating: 5.0

Is the greenest one
You could ever see
Laden with fruit
And promises

On the outside

She stepped inside
Lured into wonderland
Overwhelmed and happy
She had met her own kind

Her loneliness died

She played, she frolicked
She blossomed, she grew
She found friends
She found life

It was on her side

They woke up late one day
And she found a new playmate
Shining, dazzling, shimmering
The bestest thing ever

Pretty and ribbon-tied

The friends woke-up
But she went away
Followed the light
Into the deep insides.

Adventure now couldn’t hide

Then he left her
‘cos he never wanted to
play with her anyway
She cant find her way back

She has keeled over and died.

the light stll burns deep blue the remniscencve never bereft of green grin when once raved up yet flows in hide that always reason true and ever glimmering.....................yet luscious green by ingenuity, lucidity yet ripples across the chilled pine tree of the forest, well penned,10+, thanks for sharing
