The First Time Poem by Suelynn Walters

The First Time

We giggled and fell to the ground
You placed your hand on my face
The gentleness I never felt before
Awkward and yet I felt out of place
The First Time
Your smile so happy and sincere
Those deep chocolate brown eyes
Skin so soft and pale as snow
Your affection all came by surprise
The First Time
Your cherry colored soft gloss lips
Hair long and black as the night
When you kissed me the first time
I never forgot the pure delight
The First Time
