these soldiers perished in peril,
we are their memory keepers.

Let us not wake the brave sleepers
offering a final farewell,

Fervently, every truth seeker
must hear the war stories they tell,

Let's be patriotic teachers
bearing poppy wreaths as well,
they are our country's peacekeepers.

Tears dropped for our peace seekers
at the ringing of the church bell,
