The End Poem by Zia Eybers

The End

It was a dark and stormy night
Every lightning bolt came down with might
These storms seemed to grow more intense
My panic grew even more immense

Outside the weather was perfect
Longing, wishing...
For the same inside...

Answers there was none
After a sobbing plea, not even one
Questions, they never end
My wrecked soul, can not be mend

It is a dark and stormy night
Every lightning bolt comes down with might
The hours of darkness are here to stay
My panic does not stray

Outside the weather is faultless
Longing, whishing...
For less fault inside

Answers, there is one...
Love for me, there is none
Questions, they came to an end
My life can not be mend
