The Duality Of Red Poem by Christal Bailey

The Duality Of Red

Do you see the anger in the
looming skies,
the rage, the jealousy in its
crimson eyes?
From the heavens, the warm
blood splatters to the ground.
The pools of dreary red
smeared eerily all around.

Do you see the passion in the
emerging skies,
the love, the fervor in its
rosy eyes?
From the heavens, the blushing
beads cascade to the ground.
The droplets of a giddy love
splashing joyfully to the ground.
