What Is Pink? Poem by Christal Bailey

What Is Pink?

Pink is an overly pinched chubby cheek,
Look at my pink dress, isn't it chic?
Pink is the smell of Johnson's baby lotion.
It could be a bottle of pink love potion!

Some think it's a color only for girls- -
that's okay with me, I love pink pearls!
I can't think of anything as sweet
as bright pink nail polish on manicured feet.

Pink is the color of frosting on cake;
Leave some for me, for heaven's sake!
Pink is my tongue as it licks ice cream.
It's the best color to color my dreams.

Pink is the sound of a magical flute.
Listen to this, 'Toot, tooty, toot toot.'
What a wonderful color, the color pink;
It should be color of the year, don't you think?
