Descending from lofty peaks,
The curious traveller seeks,
Through amorphous clouds,
The figures mist shrouds,
Down the iridescent path,
Guided by the dark wizard's staff,
A black magic,
That can turn tragic,
Swirling in the air,
The truth does not dare,
The head aches,
With tantalizing reflections on lakes,
Clasped by wandering hands,
To foreign lands,
Against time the pilgrim will race,
To find night's elusive face,
A perilous trip,
Onto none to grip,
Grabbing at the dark,
Hearing the song of the morning lark,
If fate is kind,
Eventually he may find,
The secret that lies beneath,
The fragilely held belief,
That the mind tries to conceal,
In accepting all is real…
