The Disguised Monsters Poem by Hebert Logerie

The Disguised Monsters

Some men and women
Are not human
They are monsters
Criminals and gangsters
They may look normal
But they have the heart of an animal
They are as vicious as tigers
As obnoxious as dirty rats
As ugly as loud bats
They are predators.

Some men and women
Are like disguised monsters
They suck blood like vipers
They are not human
They are everywhere
In our society
They are here and there
In our communities
At church, at school
On the job, at the pool
In the streets, and in the cities.

Look at this one
Although she seems normal
But she is an animal
A very bad one
Watch how she walks
Watch how she talks
She is indeed a monster
A liar, an aggressor
A perpetrator, a gangster
A thief and a backstabber.

Look at the other one
The heavy duty one
Who can barely walk
Who can no longer talk
He is as bad
That's sad
Look is deceiving
And contradicting
Don't rely on the color of the skin
That's just a cover for the spleen
The hypocrites are professionally disguised
I know them very well, gals and guys.
