The Death Of Me Poem by Lauren Harper

The Death Of Me

What more can you take?
What more can I loose?
What more do you want?
What more could you choose?

What else is there to say, when there's nothing left to loose?
What else is there to do,
When there is nothing left to choose?
What else can I survive before I end you?

What will I do?
What will I say?
Will I survive tomorrow?
Will I die today?

Will they ever know the feelings inside
Of torture, of loss, or of pain?
What more could you want?
What more could you gain?

How long until the end of your rein?
How long till the end of my sorrow or of my pain?
How long will I wait? How long will I plead?
Could this be the end of me?

What will you see when the truth unfolds?
What will you think when it is known?
What will happen if I don't survive?
What will happen with this single life?

How much longer before they see?
How much longer before they understand my plea?
How much longer before they can see who I am?
How much longer before they've seen the extent of my loss.

Will I recover?
Will I survive?
Will I escape this nightmare alive?
Will it be the end of me or of you?

If it where up to me,
If I could choose
I would conclude this story,
With the death of you.
