The Day Comes To Its Quiet End Poem by Shalom Freedman

The Day Comes To Its Quiet End

THE DAY COMES TO ITS QUIET END

The day comes to its quiet end
Little has been done
One more is gone
One more that will not return again

Tomorrow is another day
But one day soon
There will be no tomorrow

To have more days
Come to their quiet end
With little done?

I have no answer
I will try to do more
But it may be over sooner than I know
Tomorrow is another day

Let me pray
I will live tomorrow
As I have not quite lived
