The Day After Yesterday Poem by Joen Coronel

The Day After Yesterday

I wonder why I feel so cold for tomorrow
Is there an apparition that passed by?
Or a cool breeze that gently whipped my sorrow?
None of the two but why I'm still feeling this, why?

I don't know if I should continue writing this
While imagining the yesterday before
Surely, all of the smiles and frowns will be missed
Things that I can't just ignore

My mind trembles while thinking
Every words I wanted to express
The emotions that are lingering
Seem bursting inside my chest

Every face stormed my past
Whipping the shadows behind the class
My heart pounds so fast
Thinking each of our footprints in the nostalgic dust

A while ago we're in the cathedral
Walking in the pavements with mixed emotions
But tomorrow is our last pictorial
In the last place, the stage of salutations!

Iam hesitant to post this poem in FB
Knowing that you guys are the reason
Maybe Iam nothing with you, maybe,
But be happy because we already accomplished another mission! !

Congratulations to graduates batch 2012-2013,
May this simple poem can inspire us then
That no matter how unfair life is
We can be the very best out of this.
