The Daughter Of Eve Poem by Ortiz Antwi

The Daughter Of Eve

Oh! Cosmos' first daughter
You who was given the chance to alter
To make your offspring's better
But chose the path of your mother

Her selfishness has climbed through your spine.
Deceiving you think everything is fine
Gathering all your hopes on time
Only to know you are not even getting a dime

But thanks be to God
That Eve produced a lot
Your sisters excruciatingly fought
Not leaving the default virtues to rot
So which woman today got lucky and who did not
Well it's in your court to crack her lock.
