Who battles with sleep when her child is sick?
Her surveillance around him alone is a cure
Who knows the meanings to her child's actions?
Who understands the heartbeats of her children?

Love is the oldest of all emotions
That was what I felt when you began to crawl
Your convulsions made me fall
I have loved you since Adam was a boy
...

How beautiful you are up above
With no one around your beauty sings aloud
Just like dead bodies among those alive
So are you in the dark sky

Oh! Cosmos' first daughter
You who was given the chance to alter
To make your offspring's better
But chose the path of your mother

And Adam said to Eve 'this is at last bone of my bone
And flesh of my flesh...'
But I say 'this is at last God's finest creation,
a missing angel from above.'

My deepest fear is falling in love
A line once crossed coming back is impossible
Love is full of pain,
Hurts so much, you feel it in your veins

Love is a mystery
A mystery on uncertainties
Uncertainties of pain or gain
Love is a game

To my mother who gave birth to me.
Mother who raised me in a gutter
All your toils you never wither
Your faith in me never falters

Now that you are no more?
What am I going to do?
When you are the tape for a torn-

Crashing down in love
Oh what a feeling!
It sues for a draft

Survival of the most greedy

I remember just like yesterday prior to my promotion to the senior most class
When all the whims and caprices of the world seemed to be dancing to my tune
When all the exults and the kid ult thoughts seemed to be deeply entrenched in my heart and mind
When my freedom and haste surpassed all birds that floats up high over hills and vales

I wake up every morning and I do not know what happened before
I shake off knowing I have everything under control.
With my malodorous attire I wander
An old mosquito with a walking stick dressed up like a man

In The Womb Of My Mother

My father brought the idea
You accepted it and kept me safely in your womb
Like a tenant you were my landlord
I fed on what you ate, drunk on what you’ve drunk
Your joy and happiness made me kick you from the inside
To let you know I was happy too
I overheard all your contemplations
I knew right from your womb what a wonderful woman you are
I enjoyed all the sweet melodies you sung for me
With my eyes closed I imagined your beauty
I was filled with enthusiasm and wishes
I wanted to come out and say to you I love you
I wanted to come out and call you mama so I kicked you
You were thrilled that your baby was strong
But I had my reasons
I was becoming of age so I became impatient
But all of a sudden I heard you cry
I could hear voices instructing you
Push push you are doing well push
I could not bear the thought of my mums cry
So I decided to come out but this time it was easier
I felt like I was being pushed out
I felt the pain in your cry
I knew what I would do when I am out
Finally I was out and to my surprise
I saw people who were just like me but bigger
I cannot kick them all; I thought
So I began to cry to win their sympathy and to let my mum go
