The Cycle Changes Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

The Cycle Changes

Rating: 5.0

Each autumn had some leaves fallen
It was not all of sudden
It was routine and casual
Some of the old dry leaves witnessed dismissal

The imminent fall no one noticed
As if it was as per promised
“Old were to be replaced”
New one were to be occupied”

Same standard was applicable
For living human too
Non living being had same fate
Some met early and some met late

Spring gives new outlook
Seasons has right to book
Its place in proper place
Life is meant to be chased

The cycle changes
So the mankind manages
They absorb the shock
Deplete the pain from stock

New child is loved
Old people are beloved too
It goes on and goes on
Life changes and moves on
