The Crying Wall Poem by Husna Amin

The Crying Wall

'Stick no bills', the wall said
The camouflage of colors but it displayed
The agonized passer-by on a dirtier street
Blame him not for his lesser skills
Teach him little and he will teach you back more
My state, my region, my country he shouts
And the poor wall keeps crying at its plight
O Hell! my countryman puts up a poor fight!

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
True love for one's country starts from taking care of the simplest things around. I wish we really understand the meaning of being 'Patriotic'! !
