The Complete Journey Of The Fortunate Few. Poem by C. Muralidara Kannan

The Complete Journey Of The Fortunate Few.

The Nine planets showered
Their choicest flowers
On an auspicious nineth day
Of waxing moon
A couple of hands garlanded each other, showers of sacred rice by surrounding nine hundred kith and kin.

Nocturnal nymphs witnessed ninety minutes of nuptial night, conditioned
Consummation the first time

The prologue proceeded with convenient many adding manuere
To the treasureed measure
Grown out of pleasure.

Nine long months of
nourishment and sombre stay
at a closed shrine,
at the stroke of nine o'clock
on a night, fine and divine

A tender pink fruit decended
Plant and fruit fresh alike
Gave a sharp shriek, resting
Resilience received both.

Many a moons moved by
With nutrition of nine grains
Nine years had gone by
The prince of penance
Qualified for his spiritual eye

Got through the valleys, mountains, rugged roads and plains
of domestic life
that accorded right Illumination
of essential education.

Wielding a weapon of two soft ends, love and kindness,
the warrior kept riding his
charitable chariot, slaying
the formidable foes, Desire, Wrath, Ego.. on his way

At the arrival of Ninety Nine,
Nine Entrances and Exits
Of the pleasure station exist
Intact ever evading any
Travel in One Naught Eight

Looking forward to the train
One Two Six to celebrate
A full fledged feste feasible.
