Appeal Of A hair-Comb Poem by C. Muralidara Kannan

Appeal Of A hair-Comb

Rating: 5.0

I tend and mend
your unkempt hair
I groom you fair
Never take me for a broom
Though you dump
Me and my brethren
In your customized bath-room.

Remember, I too have
A tight set of slender supple teeth
Have I ever hurt you?
Bitten you bad...?
Then, why do you cast me off
Postuse, Am I an outcast?

As I gently plough your bush
I too gather your slimy dirt.
Ever seen my clogged gums?
Find time to brush my teeth
Lest I carry a bad breathe.

Please set me in a right slot
Be it your tiny basket or pocket.
For I tend your wiry hair
Please treat me forever fair.
