The Chamber Of Difficulties Poem by Geoffrey Fafard

The Chamber Of Difficulties

There is no point in trying to stab the moon
Just because its light disturbs your reading
And why do you not stop your sorrowful song
When the other frogs croon happily in the pond? ?
Do not think of being lost in the night's chilly fog
Whilst all rides well on your morning shoulder
Live for the ecstasy of the battle's moment
The thrill of this challenge
Awaits in your own hidden chamber of difficulties
Just waiting for the moment to pounce
Then and only then will you see that thrill
Caressing your dilemma
Your understated problems of life
Without adventures, pure and amazing
Of no challenge, of no deceits nor questions
Just eat it, I advise and savour the unusualness
Every dam thing catapults fear at your face
Do not stab the moon
The golden light will only add to the intensity
Of your reading….!

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Anyway…. what the moon said to me when last it was full was enough to
make me think marginally better things of this planet…you see there is
always hope… in the glow…no?
