In the beginning we were just acquaintance
Until time gave us the chance
A chance to know each other
And explore the friendship we barely share

Friends we will always be
A promise kept by you and me
A promise that was meant to be
In our hearts will forever stay

Our friendship goes on smoothly
We’ve conquered problems mightily
And surpassed the trials ahead of us
Because in each other we have trust

The moment we had together
Made our days light and brighter
Each cherished moment we share
Made our burdens easy to bear

Time bind us together
It made us felt better
Time made us closer
In our hearts there was always cheer

But why would time so suddenly
Grab these feelings deep within me
It’s time still that drew us farther
Because we have our own lives to ponder

Yet no matter how distant we have gone
My worries are all but none
Because the bond has gone beyond
And forever you will always be
My FRIEND… a special someone
