The Bomb And The Boom Poem by Garrett Westcott

The Bomb And The Boom

Who needs God?
When we got the bomb and the boom
Said old man Sam
To the buffoon and the fool
The weather is nice
Sittin' here by the pool
I do declare 'I'm too cool for school'
Then the storm tempest began to rage
And old Uncle Sam's grin began to fade
And you know the story
It's all the same
The boom and the bust
And it's time to turn the page
So who needs God?
When we got the bomb and the boom
Every man dead and alive
For Jesus is comin' back soon
