Hallelujah, Praise The Lord Poem by Garrett Westcott

Hallelujah, Praise The Lord

The birds sing Your praises
Yesterday is behind us now
The sun salutes Your majesty
The morning rises
Then to You it bows

-Chorus-
Hallelujah, praise the Lord
Hallelujah, praise the Lord
Hallelujah, praise the Lord
It's a brand new day

I recognized how lost I was
My sorrow an ocean wide
I let go of all my sin
And gave my life to Jesus Christ

When the sky rolls up like a scroll
And the hallelujahs begin to sing
Jesus will return at last
Oh, how the bells will ring
