The Bliss Of The Bite Poem by Bare Back Angel

The Bliss Of The Bite

I loved you
and that was wrong,
but oh so right!
Our love forbidden
our bond stronger,
for its secrecy
But all is found out
the truth revealed
and now the bell tolls.
It rings for our love
now dead
And with it die we.
We who knew the dangers
but still caressed the blades edge
loving the bite
craving the sting
the exhilaration of lies
and jealousy.
As the nooses we,
ourselves made tighten
we smile,
remembering,
the bliss of the bite.
