The Bliss Of Solitude Poem by Shruti Goswami

The Bliss Of Solitude

Rating: 5.0

Backwaters
Stretching far and wide
The sparkling diamonds of the waves
Dancing to the tune of a moonlit night
Kissing the feet like love divine
And the rains
The rains pouring down
In desperation like a hurricane
Soothes the tornado in my mind.

A string of white pearls
That embraces the serenity of the deep dark sky
Sends the wind amidst the swaying palms
To whisper sweet nothings
To my thirsty ears worn and torn
By the conundrum of a hectic life.

The gentle walks on the grains of sand
Pulls me closer to the land
I feel that I have been born time and again
I belonged to these
The swaying palms, the mighty trees
The pristine drops and the soothing breeze
All that I ever sought
Was the bliss of solitude
Within myself and with me.
