A big blue room
Nothign in it but a bed
The bible and a girl
Who's damaged in the head
She wakes up not knowing
Where she is
She wakes up trying to
Think about this
This big blue room
Is lovely to see
But there's no door
And the bible is
On the white floor
She gets up
The soft carpet
She feels on her feet
While trying not to forget
The big blue room
Has writing on the cover
This cover justs saids
'Read me, I'm valuably.'
So this girl reads it all
From the beggining to the end
She rather likes this book
But is tired of reading it
The big blue bed
Is what she falls asleep on
But her nightmares wake her up
She forgets it all again
The wall suddenly opens
And in walks a man
Blue jeans a blue T-shirt
He looks like her friend
The man in the room
Comes to her in the bed
Kisses and lovely touches her
Warming up her hands
He tells her that Jesus
Loves her so much
That he wouldn't want
Her to hurt herself
Suddenly her memory's retouched
He tells her what happened
But she already knew
She hurt herself
And the pain broke through
The man in the room
Slowly pulls up her sleeves
All the cut marks she saw
She just couldn't believe
Apparently this girl
Cut herself many times
She did something else
She commited the ultimate crime
Her damanged bruised head
That she kept hitting over again
Was her suicide attempt
Remembering this she wept
The man in the room
Wept more than she had
And reminded her of Jesus
And the promises he said
Jesus promises hope
For the lost and confused
Strengthing and comfort
When your life seems all used
Whenever you're lonely
Or feeling depressed
Jesus is always there for you
On him you can rest
A day with Jesus
Is all this girl had
But it was enough for her
To get rid of the bad
Amber now lives on
With her faith but regrets
But these memories of her
Make her upset
But with these memories came
All she needed to know
Jesus saves, comforts, protects
Strengthens and gives you hope
No matter what your problems are:
Past, regrets, sins depression or doom
Jesus lives on forever in your heart
In a big blue room
