I heard that you were happy
I heard your dreams came true
I heard that you’ve found someone
Who is the one for you
So I wish you happiness
I hope you do succeed
But I can honestly tell you
For you my heart still bleeds
I thought that you and I
Would be together forever
I knew I’d never find
Anyone who’s better
But it looks like you have
I hope he treats you well
I hope that your life
We be lived in heaven not in hell
When I stop and think of you
My thoughts will all be kind
To me you were the greatest lady
I could have ever hoped to find
