The Angels Of The Falls Poem by Charlotte Peters Rock

The Angels Of The Falls

Rating: 4.0

Above the falls
The angels wait

They teeter on the edge
And see the drop
In grey the water slips away
In white and air it surges to the ground

In spume and spray it moves
As a rainbow in air

Thus impressed - the angels fly
To join the water in its flow

A swoop - a turn - a spark of light
A sweep and flow on airy wings
And there they go
The Angels of The Falls

This is a lovely poem, and really captures the imagination.
