The Act Of Laying Eggs Poem by Reyhan Yucebay

The Act Of Laying Eggs

Rating: 5.0

Her dreams is her only soul makes her happy
Reminds herself once she raced to the sea
Builds a sand mountain safe haven to lay eggs.

She ever returns backs racing against the wind
In current underneath to fight to reach birth shore
Looks back the sand she was hatched to lay her eggs.

-In Turkey ISITUZU is the place where sea turtles come every year to lay their eggs.
It was in National Geographic magazine. I am fortunate to see the place. It is wonder full
place and I thought I'm blessed with its secret beauty.

I've seen this happen before on television, i forget if it were dozens or hundreds of turtles laying eggs, whatever the case it was memorable.
