That's All Folks Poem by Christopher Tye

That's All Folks

That's All Folks

Time to bow-out and leave this existence,
Hope died out such a long time ago,
Always getting slapped in the face by life,
Trying to think of reasons to continue,
Searching for something to cling on to.

Always getting the bad luck and raw deals,
Life's not worth living at this price,
Living in the shadows out of sight.

Feeling like humanity treats me as something less than them,
Only if the standard's knew me truly,
Limited by others not by myself,
King of broken dreams and hopes,
Suicide is the only viable option.

If you think of suicide, remember you'll never see that beautiful dawn tomorrow morning. My mother used to say this to me at a time of great sadness in my life. She was right. There is always something worth living for that you can only find if you are still in this world.

Hang in there, Christopher. Life is worth living. Suicide is never the answer. It hurts your friends and relatives more than you could ever know. Send me a private message if you want to talk.
