That Guy Poem by Mary Katherine

That Guy

You said you weren't
That guy.
You said you loved me
And not to cry
Because you had not and would never
leave for another.
Well I suppose that's where the lies began
Right after you took my hand
And said that you were safe.
That you would never be
That guy.
That you would never make me shed a tear
But here I lay
In pools of dispair
After seeing you standing there
With her.
You lied trough your teeth
And hid behind satin hair
And I'm left here with nothing to share
But the disappoint you gave
And the sadness that became
Of you being
That guy.
I hope your satisfied by the trail
Of lies you left between
The
What could have been
Of you and me
And I hope someday you feel inside
The pain you caused this summer night.

There are few things worse than betrayal. Great poem.
