(that)covid-19 Craze Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

(that)covid-19 Craze

Peaceful.
No uninvited agitating conflicts.
Arguments avoided.
To notice when they begin.
By the ones loving to start them.
Just to finding excuses to create nonsense,
Leaving headaches and agony...
For someone else.
Done to do,
Everyday.
Seeking the enjoyment,
To pluck a nerve and push buttons.

"How can anyone live like that?
Who on Earth,
Would think...
Plucking nerves, pushing buttons.
Stirring up conflicts to start.
Then to begin agitating arguments,
Gives them enjoyment?
That's crazy! "

So is denial.
Such a mix bag,
Of choices to pick from isn't it?

"And why the look?
As if that question is directed to me."

No particular reason.

"What are you trying to say? "

It would be wonderful to live peacefully.
Without anyone agitating,
To begin a conflict.
Just to find an excuse to argue,
Over something foolish to start.
Then attempt giving a headache to someone.
Just for the enjoyment to do it.

"Yeah...
It would be wonderful to know that peace.
Without leaving someone,
Who finds it too boring.
Then begins to offer a mix bag of choices,
To another who refuses to pick...
Which argument to start.
Later to deny."

Aw...comeon.
You're no fun at all.
Get upset.
Be angry about 'something'.

"I told you,
When this covid-19 virus pandemic thing began,
Months ago.
It is going to have an effect on you.
And now...
Here you are talking about peace.
As if the having of it is driving you crazy."

I...uh...uh.
I was just joking.
Seriously.
Don't look at me like that.
