My mama always told me not to worry
That things would always work out
My mama always told me not to hurry
To take my time growing up
My mama always told me keep on smiling
Cause life is what you want it to be

And this is me
standing here
naked from head to toe
and this is my way of saying
mama, you were right

My mama once told me there will be bad times
and you`ll feel like you wont make it through the day
My mama then told me, there will good times
and you wish they will never end
My Mama always tells me, keep on smiling
cause you learn through bad times too

so, this is me
standing here
naked from head to toe
and this is my way of saying
That mama you were right.

so, Mama, here I`m standing and I smiling
and I`ve learned to slow things down a bit
and Mama, I don’t worry any longer
things happen as they may
But Mama let me tell you, keep on smiling
And together we`ll make it trough the days

And this is me
Standing here
Naked from head to toe
And this is my way of saying
That Mama, I love you.
