Thank You Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Thank You

Rating: 5.0

Thank you for loving me,
Thank you for showing me the way,
Thank you for teaching me what love is,
For the slavedrivers oppressed me and you came my way.

They took my virginity away like the sea, the lake and the boats;
But you cam my way with sincere love and care.
Thank you for loving me,
Thank you for kissing me,
Thank you for making love to me,
For your love to me is like the sunshine on my nakedness.

Thank you for loving me,
Thank you for staying with me,
Thank you for the world so sweet,
For you are like the hope of my dreams after what i went through.

Thank ou for showing me the way,
Thank you for accepting me,
Thank you for all the kindness from your heart,
For Isaac and Ishmayl buried Abraham in the cave of Machpelah and,
You've now shown me what love really is.

You've taken me in after being oppressed by the slavedrivers,
And i thank you for your sweet love towards me.
Thank you everything that is so sweet from you,
Thank you for the kind of love that you share with me,
Thank you for the world so sweet;
For my whole body is for you my sweet one.
